SAP BW .Net Connector to Microsoft Power BI error

I have Windows 10 64 bit OS and same version Power BI installed. when i try to install .Net Connector from Microsoft site , to give me ability to connect to SAP BW, the error indicates i dont have the "sapnco" file in my %Windows%Assembly folder.

I can see the file present there, however realize that it is the 32 bit (x86) version while i need the 64 bit(x64) version.

But so far i cannot find a way to add/replace/copy/paste anything into the %Win%Assembly folder in my C drive.

Has anyone come across this issue and if there is a way to replace these files with the correct version?

Need help urgently, i am stuck with this for last few days.

Hello,

I know this is old but there's nothing more frustrating than an unanswered post when you're looking at a problem so the resolution is in this note:

So basically you need to install SAP .NET Connector 3.0 not 3.1 as it's 'not supported yet'.

That sorted it for us anyway.
