How to apply SAP ASE 16.0 SP02 PL04 HF1?

Hello,

We are trying to apply SAP ASE 16.0 SP02 PL04 HF1, but we are facing the following issue: it is not possible to update from SAP ASE 16.0 SP02 PL04 to SAP ASE 16.0 SP02 PL04 HF1, because both versions are assumed identical.

I guess that we should modify our update procedure, but we are not able to find any relevant documentation.

Do you have some error or even better, the ASE_Suite.log to share with us?

Are you upgrading manually or using saphostctrl (I assume this is about ASE for Business Suite, am I correct ? )

We don't use saphostctrl. We are trying to update ASE in HANA Cloud Platform.

As you're not in a Business Suite environment, could you provide us details about how you are proceeding to apply the SP02 PL04 HF1 (ie from command line, using ASE installer wizard? )

We are using the following command line: setup.bin -i silent

with the following installer.properties file:

RUN_SILENT=true

USER_INSTALL_DIR=/sybase/ASE

DO_UPDATE_INSTALL=true

AGREE_TO_SAP_LICENSE=true

AGREE_TO_SYBASE_LICENSE=true
