Hi,
we use SAP APO on S/4Hana, but only PPDS. DP& SNP are not used. I want to test dynamic safety planning and need to do some changes in SNP area.
I tried to open snp planning book 9ASNP_SSP in transaction /SAPAPO/SDP94 but got an error:
"No valid version exists for planning area '9ADP01'
Do you want to initialize a planning version?
When clicking No, I cannot do anything. When clicking Yes, following error appears:
Message No. /SAPAPO/MSDP_SH016
A program necessary for the selection tool could not be dynamically generated. The probable cause for this is that the master planning object structure '9ADPBAS' that is the basis of planning area'9ADP01' is inconsistent or (partially) inactive.
Check and activate the master planning object structure '9ADPBAS' using transaction 'Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning Administration' (/SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN). If the problem still occurs contact SAP."
in SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN I see that POS- 9ADPBAS is not active. But actually I do now want to use DP at all, just SNP.
Do I really need to activate 9ADPBAS and if yes what should I do?
If I double click on 9ADPBAS I see I could activate it but I get following error
Message No. /SAPAPO/TSM173
I tried to look into that and did run the report /SAPAPO/TS_D_OBJECTS_COPY
where I found a few errors, e.g.
"Characteristic 9ABUY_PTY: Referenced characteristic 0CUSTOMER not (actively) available"; "Characteristic 9ASHPFR: Referenced characteristic 0APO_LOCNO not (actively) available"; etc.
then in tranx RSD1 to activate first 0CUSTOMER, but then I do not know what package should be used??
thank you for your help!
Hi,
I would like to ask you to check Note 2331399 which describes the solution to your error:
"When you enter the MPOS that it is not activated, it is automatically entered in edit mode. As you are using SAP Standard MPOS, this is happening to avoid changes that could be made. Even though you do not change anything and save data, activate the MPOS while editing is not allowed from customer side. When you enter the MPOS that it is not activated, it is automatically entered in edit mode.
