Hi,
I have a such kind of requirement 1 buyer or purchaser responsible for 2 different purchase organizations and company codes respectively. How to achieve this type of requirement in SRM and the necessary configuration related to this requirement.
SRM 7.0 version
Appreciate your help
thanks & regards,
Siva
Hi Siva
You can do one thing.
You can create two Purchase GROUP named
SIVA KUMAR (name of the PURCHASE GROUP)- SVK - assign siva as a purchaser - POrg1
SIVAKUMAR (name of the PURCHASE GROUP)- SKU- POrg2
So you always get text in PO SIVA KUMAR as a PURCHASE GROUP
and give organisation responsibile as 5xxxxx company code in the Purchase group.

Hi Dinesh/Muthu/sapsrm01,
Thanks for your reply.
The current situation is, there are 2 company codes, 2 plants and 2 purchase organizations respectively in SAP R/3 production system.. There is one central procurement team will takecare of the procurement for both the company codes for indirect materials.
Finally, I have decided to go with new central purchase organization in backend for Indirect procurement (SRM) and used this new purchasing organization in SRM.
I have created new central purchase organization.and assigned to both the plants and not to company codes in backend, necessary attributes has been maintained in SRM for purchaser (buyer), employee and tested this scenario, its working fine.
thanks and regards,
Siva
SRM org structure has facility that a user can be assigned to 2 depts (O levels) with the % of work he/she is supposed to do.
I am only aware of this feature but never tried
so if u r sucessful in this u cn assign a user to 2 diff pur grps which will be assigned to diff pur orgs resp
while determining responcibility of pur org for company code u cn map the required combination
