Materials are enabled for quality management and are automatically put into qc inventory when purchasing and receiving, without producing inspection batches.

How to deal with it?

Hello JIE,

check in MM03 on Quality management if the flag "Post to insp. stock" are marked. If you see the documentation (F1) "Specifies whether the material is subject to quality inspection (without inspection lot processing) and whether a goods receipt is posted to inspection stock. The indicator is copied to purchase order items and goods receipt items as a default value."

after this, if you need create a inspection lot, just update (in the same screen) the inspection setup data with inspection type necessary, and assign this material with a inspection plan. If after this, others problems appears, please share with us.

Regards,

Since this is only a problem in the first receipt of a purchase order, the subsequent receipt and warehousing will normally produce inspection batches.

The current approach is to forcibly transfer materials in quality stock that do not produce inspection batches to unrestricted stock.
