EHSM Incident Management Field Control Not Working

Hi, 

I have added a new field control profile to the standard sub node VEHICLE under the BO EHHSS_INCIDENT.

I'm using the standard class CL_EHFND_CHK_ROOT_FIELD_NE, but I'm not seeing it triggered in DEBUG.

I'm seeing this issues when I use a custom Z class as well. My Z profiles are failing to trigger.

What am I missing? 

 

Note: I'm using the latest EHSM SP for S/4 HANA and FIORI.

Dear Jeff,

the configuration/customizing you did in SPRO looks fine from my point of view. If I understand it correctly, you want to hide a number of fields on the Asset tab for Vehicles if the event recorded is a near miss or safety observation.

I recreated the same configuration on our system and it works without any issues.

There is one little thing you might want to try:

1. Open the transaction SHMM,
2. Select the shared memory area CL_EHFND_FIELD_CONTROL_SHM,
3. Invalidate or delete this shared memory area,
4. Refresh (F5) the near miss or safety observation record you are looking at.

If this does not fix the issue, I would ask you to check if there are any overlapping field control profiles available.
