SOM contract display allowance

Hi Experts,

For the allowance display in SOM at contract level, following the steps provided on the link: https://help.sap.com/viewer/95ad0cb1c441447888d695da7f3fd3d9/2020.001/en-US/613d2453619e6857e1000000...

The allowance is still not showing under the allowance block automatically or after refresh. We confirmed that the allowance plan is successfully triggered for the contract in CC but it seems SOM cannot retrieve it. Looking for your inputs, if we have missed any configurations.

Hi Paul,

in the order you only see which allowances will be created when contract is distributed to SAP CC.

To see allowances in the contract following requirements must be fulfilled:

• In Customizing for Service under Transactions -> Settings for Subscription Transactions -> Define Settings for Item Categories your item category must be marked for "Display Allowances"
• Depending on your S/4 release you must define a default logical port in transaction SOAMANAGER for consumer proxy CO_ISX_ALLOWANCE_MANAGEMENT_SE or CO_ISX_ALLOWANCE_MANAGEMENT_V1

Have you checked your contract in SAP CC system, that the allowance was created correctly?

Thank you for your reply. See below:

• Depending on your S/4 release you must define a default logical port in transaction SOAMANAGER for consumer proxy CO_ISX_ALLOWANCE_MANAGEMENT_SE or CO_ISX_ALLOWANCE_MANAGEMENT_V1 - Yes we have already set the logical ports for this - Yes we applied the needed dispatcher host and logical port however when pinging the webservice an http error message is returned. Checking note 1947516 it seems that this is normal?

Yes, we checked the provider contract in CC->view allowances and we can see that the allowance plan is there.

Hi Paul,

not sure if you maybe use shared allowances. This is not supported in all S/4 releases.

Otherwise you can activate the payload trace for web service calls in transaction SRT_UTIL and check the web service response if CC system returns an error.

Hi Experts,

The issue still persists. We have confirmed that the allowance was successfully created from SOM with the Create Allowance step in the ODI. We can view the allowance (View Allowance button) and the value we passed in CC - so everything seems ok in CC environment for the contract. However, it seems SOM is not able to retrieve this information in the contract itself under the Allowance block?

I'm wondering if we have missed a step to trigger or is there a missing configuration to allow this data to be retrieved in SOM at contract level. Note that in the Order we can see the allowance information in the allowance block.

Looking for any inputs to help us resolve this.
