Dear Expert,

DO we need to  run the AFAB after posting of write up by ABZU if run it is not coming in AFAB.

And once we posted the unplanned depreciation by ABAA in future can we run the depreciation directly by AFAB to the respective asset.

Please guide me anyone.

Regards,

Mahi.

Hi Mahi,

Yes, you have to run AFAB after write up/unplanned depreciation. If the corresponding entry posted in current period and the posting will happen once you run the depreciation in current period at month end. If you have done posting in last period, then you have to run the depreciation in repeat mode. However, have you assigned GL accounts for revaluation in AO90 for the account determination.

Hi Mahi,

Have you selected the check box "Post revaluation" in OAYR for the co.code. If not, then select it.

Hi Mahi,

Small correction in my earlier reply i.e. revaluation/unplanned depreciation will post once you run AFAB. However, write up will post in ABZU itself. So the doc.no.53 is accounting document.

Hi Mukthar,

You meant to say no need to run AFAB once posted by ABZU itself created both a/c document and AA document.

Mahi.
