Storage Bin Full Indicator (KZVOL) is not marked for completion

Hi Gurus,

ISSUE

  While doing the Bin to Bin transfer..

  The system allows posting to a Storage bin which already has a utilization of 100%.

1. The storage bin has a single section and it is already occupied by a material in a SUT
2. The storage bin Full Indicator (KZVOL) is unmarked

Standard SAP should not allow an SUT of a different material to get placed in the storage bin which is already occupied with a material in a
SUT in all the available storage bin sections.

The above issue is faced when the user manually enters a destination storage bin (100% utilized and KZVOL indicator not set) without the
storage bin section.

When the process is system guided (automatic), a 100% utilized storage bin gets proposed as the destination storage bin. Error message L3061
comes up.

SAP note 1175858 fails to give a resolution to the problem

SYSTEM SETTINGS

I am currently using the following configuration setup for
my Warehouse storage type:

1. Stock Putaway strategy : P (storage Unit Type)
2. Mixed Storage indicator: A (Several homogeneous storage units per bin)
3. Addition to Stock indicator: X (Addition to existing stock permitted)

   My warehouse is additionally SU Management, SUT check and storage section check active.

The Storage Bins have sections based on the storage bin type.

Hi Claudio,

I think the issue is with the sytem unable to identify that the storage bin is full.

Manual placement of stock into the bin(without the storage section) resets the KZVOL indicator.

This gives rise to error L3061.

Shouldn't the system throw up an error the first time, the user manually tries to place the stock into a full bin?

Hi,

strategy P needs a specific configuration in customizing, if you cannot post here the configuration is not easy to undestand what can be the problem.

Have you defined the sectioning of the bin?
