Hallo Experts,
we have the following requirement:
Our customer uses SAP B1 8.82 and the MS Outlook integration Add-In and has the following requirement:
He wants to disable the maintainance of the synchronisation criteria by the users. Only the admin, should be able to change the synx criteria, in order to disable the synchronisation of contacts and quotations.
I read the admin quide and several sap messages but cannot find the admin-relevant documentation.
Kind regards

Hello Expert,
is there any other solution proposal?
Kind regards

Hello!
I am looking for a similar solution, so that an Administrator can define the synchronization Settings (which cannot be changed by an user) and the Login Settings (Definition of SQL Server and Password).
Perhaps someone knows in which files this configuration is saved and which may be only copied to another Client.
Is there a solution for that?
Thank you
Kind regards,

Hello Naga Rajan,
I have already read this documentation, but it doesn't describe how we can deactivate the sync criteria of the ms outlook addin for the client computer.
For a better understanding:
The sync criteria in the menu-entries should be inactive for the users, which use the SBO and MS Outlook.
Kind regards

Hello Nagan,
thank you for the link, but the video only explains how i can deactivate the synchronisation of folders of my account.
If you have installed the MS Outlook AddIn for the SAP B1 please go to the AddIn tabstrip and in the menu SAP Business One select the Synchronization Synchronize...entry.
The settings for the synchronisation are described in the following link.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sbo882ao/helpdata/en/45/fe66dbd67f04a7e10000000a114a6b/content.htm
I'm looking for a solution, to make the seetings only accessible for the MS Outlook Admin and not for everyone.
Kind regards
