Hi

I have set the user status as shown

10 ZCTD CRTD - PO/PR not all 10 20 1 1

20 ZREL REL - No Activity Al 20 50 1 1

ZCTD - does not allow PO or PR

ZREL is set on REL and does not allow activity allocation

The problem is that I can set ZREL manually by going into the WBS detail although I have not set REL. I have tried all combinations of the lowest and highest number. Any ideas??

Regards

Virendra

I believe you can authorize on user status in you're authorisation rolles. I don't know the exact name of the object for this.

so the system can set the status but a user cannot

Hi

Thanks for your answer. I am considering that option and your input is helpful, But I was more interested to know if there is any way I can do this without use of authorisations. If there is no way then I will apply the auth method

Hi A. de Smidt,

Would you please post the result here, if you find the solution.

I have done some tests without success.

Thanks and regards,

nop , I thought perhaps that you could try with authorisation object B_USERSTAT

but I can't see how.

perhaps modify the buttons to set the status from the screen itself if it's really necessary. perhaps also wise to set the recording of status changes so that you can always find out afterwards if someone set the status manually.
