Update discount (pricing condition) in a sales order through Idocs

Hi experts,

We are trying to achieve a new requirement as part of integration of our SAP ECC system with SDFC.

The requirement is accept a item level discount sent from SFDC system (in an Idoc) and create/update the value in sales order pricing.

We have completed the following steps

1 Defined the pricing condition type ZPIC as a manual pricing condition type and set up all configurations

2 The Idoc details are

a Basic type message type ORDERS05 ORDCHG

b Item level pricing we are using E1EDP05 segment

Questions

1. We are confused about the field which should be used, Should it be BETRG or KRATE ?

2. On using BETRG field, while we try to update value a new pricing condition is added

For instance,

using Idoc 1, a new ZPIC pricing cond was created with value as 10

using idoc 2, we are try to update ZPIC value as 15. This is resulting in 2 condition line s ZPIC with values 10 and 15

I have tried researching on this and found most of forum mentioning that SAP does not allow updating the value for an existing pricing condition through Idoc.

Can you kindly provide any pointers on this ?

Try passing the condition type in E1EDP05-KSCHL and the value in E1EDP05-BETRG
