we see table /AIF/EPP_CORRE has ~300 Million records and our system is 1 and half old since implemented. We use AIF extensively for most of interfaces.
Not finding much help on purpose of this /AIF/EPP_CORRE table and way to clean up. We don't have ILM setup
Please assist on how to clean up this table?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
It is possible to clear the /AIF/EPP_CORRE table using the report /AIF/DELETE_PASSPORT_DATA by inputting the deletion date and time parameters.
The /AIF/EPP_CORRE table contains the 'SAP Passport' of the messages monitored in AIF, and it is not really meaningful what interface they belong to, so there is no such selection criteria provided.
Besides that, /AIF/EPP_CORRE table data can be deleted with AIF archiving. Once you are archiving the corresponding entries from AIF index tables, the entries are picked up from /AIF/EPP_CORRE and can be deleted.
The archiving program /AIF/MES_WRI (AIF archiving object in SARA: /AIF/MES) will write the entries that need to be archived. Afterwards, the deletion report /AIF/MES_DEL will take that into consideration and clean up the corresponding entries in the /AIF/EPP_CORRE table.
For more information about AIF archiving, please check:
Best regards.
