Hi, we moved to S4 last year and just came back from maternity leave so sorry if this question sounds stupid but I need inputs on why are additions assigned with period control 6 - start of fiscal year? In one of our reviews with finance group managing depreciation, we need to explain how depreciation and period control works. Can someone share the rationale behind period control 6 for additions? I understand for initial year of acquisition but this one is for subsequent additions after initial cap. Thank you very much.
