Sap usage probability and planned orders

Hi Experts,

I am trying to setup a BOM that has three alternate items for a part on the BOM the qty is only 1 unt, item A 60%, B30% & c 10% . I want all the planned orders in the future to pick at the ratio so for example the next 10 planned order A= 6 B= 3 & C = 1. So that each of the alternate parts will get consumed and the planners will see future demand. Is this possible

I have tried to play around with the usage probability and have created a altitemgroup A1 and played with the settings within that but I cant seem to get it to work. Previously we have just used ALT BOMs but then the alt parts don't get forecasted or consumed just the main one or it relies on the planner to remember to select the alt BOM?
