Sales rebate related issues

HI，Everyone

When I checked the help video for creating sales rebate, I found that I need to create a sales rebate accrual (REA1) and set it to -2%. What is its function? Thanks！

Hi Yingchao

RES1 is for the rebate itself. (Can be with scales)

REA1 is for the accrual.

The accrual is optional, but it can help you make a reservation for the rebates which have to be paid at the end of a certain period. Without the REA1, the rebate contract can not make any financial reservations. Accruals are posted simularly as the rebate, via settlement documents.

Accruals can even be a mandatory financial part, depending on your country specific requirements.
