How to show CreateDate on Item Master form

Hello Experts,

I'm looking for a way to show OITM.CreateDate on the Item Master form. I have the SDK and I started to add it to the form, but I hit a snag when I bind it_EDIT to CreateDate. I get a "Data Source - Not User Data Source" error. I guess this is a limitation for the SetBound function. I could do a query and pull the value into a it_STATIC item, but it seems like there should be a better way.
