Hello folks,

I am getting the error " You are not authorized to create tasks in scenario FINCS with task type 03'. I am getting this while trying to assign tasK ID 2980 consolidated Data validation. Appreciate any help with required roles/authorization to assign validation methods. Thanks

Please check Fiori Apps Library

Find relevant business catalogs

Make sure there is no restriction set.

Hello Owen - Thank you. I checked two BC's

1) SAP_FIN_BC_VE_METHOD_PC

2) SAP_FIN_BC_VE_RULE_PC

Both have Read and write access. The error message is "You are not authorized to create tasks in scenario FINCS with task type 03".

Should i look at any other specific BC's? Appreciate your help. Thanks

Hi Karthik

Have you tried completing an authorization trace to see which restriction is causing the error.

Also you dont mention how many roles are assigned to you. user. if you have read/write access in 1 role and then restricted access in another role this will mean you have restricted access in ALL roles as the restricted access takes precedence.
