My manager is asking for a report to show order fulfillment out of our existing inventory. I was thinking that a way to show this would be through purchasing history between date ranges - how many times was item "A" on a PO between May 2017 to Sep 2017.
The goal is to minimize costly rush orders, and stock enough inventory to meet customer demand for a quarter at a time. We have done a lot of min max and required updating and want to see if our efforts are working. What is the easiest way to show our order history for meeting customer demand, and turn around time between SO to DL?

As per my knowledge, you requirement could be fulfilled by Tecode ME80FN. Run this Tecode and select your desire material, then select Delivery Schedule like in below mentioned screen shot.
If you want to get more detail of Good receipt detail from Vendor then just click on Purchase Order History
