Hello SAP S/4HANA Cloud Community
I work in Product Support for S4HANA Cloud and id like to share questions i receive through incidents with the Cloud Community as i think it would be beneficial to share the information
Question : When using the Close Period app ( Close Periods https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/#/detail/Apps('MMPV')/S20 )
i get a error / message 'The specified year 2019 is not the current calendar year' and i cannot proceed.
How do i maintain the year ? , should i be concerned about what this means ? how can i proceed with closing the period ?
Answer :
The Message 'The specified year 2019 is not the current calendar year' is just a warning .
Please refer to the KBA 2733667 ( https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2733667 )
Pressing Enter as mention in the KBA will progress with the closing period
