Mass change XK99

     Hi Friends

I tried mass changing currency for vendor if XK99 from xxx to yyy. Application log said 'Changes have been made'.

When i checked table LFM1 for these vendors, new currency didn't reflected. There was still old currency.

Please suggest.

Hi Amit,

If more records are there to change then better to use LSMW or BDC method, or else rise issue to sap.

After Giving the new values click on a Carry out a  Mass change(6 th button ) and then save ,

IF you wont click on Carry out a Mass change and save ....System will show a  message But changes does not happen .

For change some fields here we use a program in LSMW.

You should change the order currency LFM1-WAERS , to reflect the same into PO header currency

There are two table for currency LFM1-WAERS and LFM2-WAERS

Which field you have changed in XK99?

If LFM1, then did you see the success message without any error message

Check Correctly.

First try XK02, then check in table LFM1, is it update?

I changed LFM1-WAERS. I tried XK02 changed the currency, it worked fine.

Yes, i got the same result as in your screenshot.

I am not able to change via mass update.

So do i have to change both in LFM1 & LFM2?

do you have entries at all in LFM2?

Can you change any other field using XK99?

Can you describe step by step how you do your XK99, maybe then we can tell you what you do wrong, as I have no issue changing the currency using XK99

There are no entries in LFM2.

I tried in quality and XK99 worked fine, i was always to mass change the currency.

But problem is coming in production.

what it can be?

Hard to say, at least i think we can exclude a handling error now.

In moment I can only think of 2 possible root causes:

-missing authorization, check with SU53 (I hate to say this as SU53  it is not reliable in our system, because it just returns the first failed authorization check, and in a very restrictive environment this is usually an authorization object that has not much to do with the issue - a trace is then much better)

-master data is different between QA and PROD, does it happen to any vendor, or only to a certain vendor.
