WE have incorrectly used the transaction type as acq(100) when they should have used 300 for a transfer. What should I do to correct it.
This entry is for conversion fo warehowse stock to capital spare... and they are supposed to book it as a transfer, but it is booked as an acq.
Can anyone tell me what is the right way to correct it
I can not even reverse it as its past that month.
.
Any clarification is appreciated.
Hi
Pass a rectification entry instead of reverse it.
If your entry is like this :
Capital Spare Parts a/c Dr. (100)
To Warehouse Stock
Capital Spare Parts a/c Dr. 300
To Capital Spare Parts a/c. (100)
manually write off those wrong items, so utimately your balance will be same and entry will be
Capital Spare Parts a/c Dr. 300
To Warehouse Stock

HI,
Use T Code AB08 to reverse the original transcation. And pass with a correct transaction type.
Depreciation posting in any case cannot be reversed. So you need to manually adjust the depreciation by resetting the recon accounts in OAMK and passing a rectification entry by Crediting depreciation adn debiting Accumulated Depreciation.
After passing this you need to reset the recon accounts by using OAMK.
Reward if useful.
