there is no relation as per only mm concerned, but when you will use some sales process then it will be required.

In STO creation the shipping data is read from the customer master and the sales area of the issuing plant and also in third party procurement the use of sales area is extensive ...

Sales is req. specially when you work with Trading goods, in which the sales is req. along with MM..

Picking etc are req. to do...

See table VRPMA table where there is SD index for material..

I hope you are asking about sales at org . level with MM.....

hi,

yes , relates to return to vendor with delivery, sending materials to subcontracter with delivery ,and STO process .
