Hello Alpesh,
It's like a big process to setup a interface between SAP & a external legacy (Like LIMS)..
You need to take a help from Basis to setup RFC connections along with ABAP if any development is required.
I would suggest you to search forums/ on google for more details. Also refer below blogs related to it.

Hi,
Just to add to the above.
We are just going through an upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6 and as the above discussed it is a fairy complex set up and process. The RFC connections and ABAP are critical but as the links suggest it is likely going to also include a little trial and error perfecting the settings as the details was fiddley. We are not quite there but progress through each error a step at a time.

Hi
As suggested by Mr. Anup, setting up interface with LIMS interface will involve more activities and needs integration between ABAP, BASIS, ECC QM, interfaces.
It is recommended to include all the required modules and it needs lot of scenario testing when you are posting the results from the LIMS to SAP ECC QM through IDOCs. And as i worked in similar LIMS interface before, it is always recommended for thorough testing and some times you need to go to SAP to implement some of OSS notes. And some enhancements are to be activated.
BASIS and ABAP help needs to set up RFC connections, creation of interface configurations in ECC, check the relevant middle ware software.
Suggest you to involve consultants in your interface developments. You may not get complete solution in the forum for such requirement.
Best regards,
Sharat
