CAT2 issue

Hi All,

When some user book their time using CAT2 t-code against WBS element, data is getting posted & time administrator is able to view the data he entered . However, when same user once again enter to edit the data using same t-code , he can not see the previous data he put . But this is not the case for all user . Some user can see their previous data .

What may be the reason ?

Hi ,

To be more precise, whatever data user is entering in "Data Entry Area " are not getting stored after saving his data . When the user re-enter the screen to feed data fo another date or to modify existing data using t-code CAT2 , previous data is not displaying .

Report this to OSS. CAT2 is a very old t-code and consequently must be very stable. Whatever you see in CATS_DA or in CAT3, must be visible in CAT2. Might be some Fiori or GUI version glitches.

Thanks for your reply .

But it is working fine for some users , not for others . In data entry area , suppose user is entering cost center , WBS element , hours etc & he saves the data . It is getting saved as admin user can display his data in CAT3 . Now the user want to put hours for another day & he can not see the previous data entered .

Check the users authorization settings.
