Alt Condition base value

Hi Experts,
I have requirement where I need to calculate condition value on 2 different parameters, like If a customer is retailer i need to calculate condition value on Gross price and if the customer is Distributor then calculate on Net price.

I hope this can be achieved through a formula routine in Alt Condition base value.

If KUNNR = R then KWERT = KZWI1 grossprice else KWERT = KZWI2.

Need your expert advise.

In principle, an Alt Condition base value will work as mentioned by you and it can be given a try. 

Have you explored all the Functional ways (with standard pricing settings) to achieve this requirement?
