SAP Activate provides a clear guided methodology to deploy, adopt and extend new capabilities across your organization. The SAP Activate implementation Roadmap Viewer is a tool used by the implementation project team members to navigate the phases, deliverables, tasks and accelerators related to the SAP Activate.
The implementation roadmap is updated frequently to contain the latest scope, processes and accelerators. The content updates occur throughout the quarter with final changes coinciding with the cloud solution release cycle.

February 12 Release Notes
- Removed the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Onboarding for 2SL accelerator from the roadmap since it is no longer relevant.
- Renamed task Access SAP Cloud ALM and Create Users to Required Setup for SAP Cloud ALM. Adjusted the description and procedure. Added accelerators Help - Troubleshooting and FAQ for SAP Cloud ALM and SAP for Me - Schedule an Expert.
2402 Release Notes
- Updated the product name to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Changed all text and accelerator titles accordingly. Contents of the accelerators will be updated with the new name in future sprints and as content is reviewed.
- Consolidated task Review Scope Items and Requirements for Embedded Analytics into task Review My Fiori Apps Reference Library for Embedded Analytics and eliminated.
- Added reference of scope item 5KF in procedure step in task Finance - Conduct Workshop.
- Updated task Document Requirement to highlight that some scope items can only be activated during initial scoping.
- Updated all accelerators (documents and links) that are specific to the 2402 release.
- Added a new Deliverable Cloud Operation Framework and Task Establish Operation Center to provide assistance with production operations of the cloud system.
- Updated the procedure in task Ensure Project Team Members Access to the SAP Learning Hub with the following:
- Modified references from Learning Rooms to SAP Enterprise Support Academy.
- Added accelerator SAP S/4HANA Implementation with SAP Enterprise Support Academy to step 7 of the procedure.
- Updated the procedure in task Self-Enable on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Embedded Analytics by adding step 7 which references two accelerators: SAP Blog: 5 Steps 2 Analytics in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Blog: Expert Guided Implementation - SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics.
- 2SL only: Removed the following Prepare deliverables since they are no longer relevant to the 2-system landscape:

January 2, Release Notes
- Updated several tasks in the Technical Architecture and Infrastructure workstream by removing redundant accelerators or updating the procedure to include references to accelerators.
December 18 Release Notes
- Added a procedure note to task Determine Migration Cockpit Field Structures for S/4HANA Cloud and linked accelerator Help - Migration Objects for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Extendable migration objects can be identified via the column "Custom Field Support".
- Added new columns in accelerator Cutover Template.xlsx in task Create Cutover Plan and Documentation.
- Changes to the filters in the Roadmap Viewer user interface to improve navigation efficiency. Renamed ‘More’ to ‘Tags’ to allow for better alignment of the name with the filters.
December 4 Release Notes

- Updated the description to simplify the purpose and process of TDR process.Updated task Evaluate and Request Test Data Refresh Service with the following changes:

- Added procedure step 3 to guide users about TDR calendar

November 20 Release Notes
- Added a new step 2 in task Execute Data Migration Using Staging Tables in SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Replaced accelerator Help - Training Material – SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit with accelerator SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Migration Cockpit - Cookbook. Updated the first procedure note with the new accelerator.
- General procedure usability updates related to converting accelerators to active links. This eliminates scrolling to the accelerator section and cross-referencing titles. The link updates will be phased in over the next several months.
November 6 Release Notes
- Refresh to the Align Project Schedules task to incorporate a procedure.
- Updated the procedure step 1 in task Execute the Cloud Mindset. Updated the referenced accelerator name from OCM Customer Readiness Whitepaper to Customer Organizational Readiness for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Whitepaper.
- Updated task Configure Tax Solution in the realize phase to reflect the correct steps for integrating the external tax calculation engine for Brazil.
- Minor description and title updates to the following tasks to support cross solution roadmaps:
- Addition of deliverable Solution Walkthrough to formally demonstrate the configured solution to the customer project team and management after testing is finalized. The deliverable was removed previously and now reinstated in a different location. It includes the addition of the following tasks:
- Added accelerator Polish Accounting Art 10 Documentation Sources to task Create Cutover Plan and Documentation. This relates to required accounting for Polish implementations.
- Updates to task Review Overview Documentation to rename Change IT Contact to Initial Admin User for consistency throughout roadmap.
- Removed deliverable Cloud Trial and related task since it is no longer relevant for the 2-system landscape.
- Removed deliverable Partner Demonstration Landscape and related task since it is no longer relevant for the 2-system landscape.
October 23 Release Notes
- Added a link to the Customer User Stories related to SAP Activate to the Overview page.
- Updated the accelerator Project Status Report for SAP Activate/S/4HANA in task Define Project Communications and Reporting.
