With this release, we deliver a new local version for public sector and additional features for SAP-delivered local versions. In addition, we offer an improved access to documentation for Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Localization

Local Version for Public Sector

With the new release, we add a new local industry version for Public Sector including government budget and grants management, fund accounting, and core scope items for finance, procurement, logistics, asset accounting, treasury, leasing, sales, plant maintenance, contract account, and project management.

Value Proposition

Support of public sector users with public cloud solution specific for Germany, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Capabilities

The new scope items in solution scenario SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for Public Sector are 6YU, 7AU, 71S, 78S, 6UC, 6R3, 6X0.

Note

For Germany and Canada, an initial version was already delivered with release 2402. New scope items as per above are planned to be added.

For the US all customers not needing GASB accounting principles should also use this version with 2408. These customers shall not use the separate Public Sector edition for the US SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud for public sector any more.
