Getting Role details of BP

Hi Experts,

i have a requirement in my project which states that, when the user search the account then the contact person should not get selected with it.

as contact is also a kind of account hence if we search it from BP_HEAD/ Search then it will be searched. but i have to restrict it.

is there any standard FM or  BADI which return me back that whether the account is contact person or not?

Not sure in what application context you would like to apply the filter ? meaning BUIL advance search or in IC account identification.

Well any ways to answer your question.

you can invoke CRMM_BUPA_CHECK_ROLE with partner number and rol type = BUP001.

if the account is not in the role the check FM will delvier a message R1 205.

this solution holds good if the user enter some search criteira.

what if it do a blank search?
