Extend Product Sales Data with SAP ECC Fields

Hi SAP Experts,

We have the requirement to extend the SAP C4C Product Sales Data information with additional fields from SAP ECC Material Sales Organization (Example: Material Pricing group 1). The new fields should also be included in a Data Source so we can produce reports.

We can add the new Fields via the UI to the Overview pane but from there we don't have the option of adding them to a Data Source.

Our Developer also tried to add the Fields to the Product Sales Area Pane using a new Tab but he is getting a Dump.

Can you advise what is the best solution to extend the SAP C4C Product Sales Area Data with new fields and add them to a Data Source?

Hi Antonio,

Are you referring to Product Groups here?. Since these are sales area relevant data it should be added under the sales tab, adding them in overview is not correct.

Completely agree with your view. The Product Groups should be added under the Sales Tab.

We will be raising the Dump with SAP.

The current issue is how to make those fields searchable. Do you know how can this fields be made searchable?

Hi Antonio,

Once the field is included in the Sales tab, It should be enabled for Search, By default it might be hidden in personalization

Hi Bejoy,

The issue we have is that new fields cannot be added via UI to the Sales tab. We have tried to add them via the Studio but we are getting a dump, we have raise it with SAP.

Regarding the search, we face similar issue in the Account Sales Area data. We have added new fields via the UI  but set them as Searchable is not an option.

Hi Antonio,

Can you add this as well to the incident and share the incident id?. I will check with the respective colleague to understand if this is a technical limitation

These are the Incident Id's raised with SAP regarding this issue:

3500229682 - SALES AREA BINDING NOT APPROPRIATE

3500229669 - ACCOUNT SALES DATA CUSTOM FIELDS NOT SEARCHABLE
