Dear Valued Customer,
On September 14-15, 2021 we hosted a virtual SAP MaxAttention Innovation Workshop with speakers from SAP Product Engineering, Solution Management, Product Management and Innovation, SAP MaxAttention Center of Expertise, and SAP customer – Astellas. The topics evolved around Intelligent Spend Management and Business Network.
The event was kicked off by Balaji Gaddam Rao, Vice President and Head of SAP MaxAttention Center Of Expertise (CoE) North America at SAP, and Sagar Deshmukh, Senior Director at SAP MaxAttention CoE North America Supply Chain Planning and Procurement at SAP who has organized and hosted the event. They discussed how SAP’s procurement solution portfolio can help companies address the procurement challenges and how SAP MaxAttention can support them in overcoming those challenges with comprehensive scope and services.
Achim Voermanek, VP Product Strategy at SAP discussed Macro-economic trends impacting procurement in today’s society and how procurement professionals must reassess their priorities and role in the organization with digital transformation and automation. The SAP Procurement vision to address the procurement challenges of today and planning for the future.
Frank Bade, Business Architect, SAP Procurement Strategy Group at SAP, provided insight into how SAP supports “One Procurement”. Deep dive into SAP S/4HANA Central Procurement concept and SAP Central Invoice Management Solution and Touchless Invoicing.
Patricia Linss, SAP Procurement Product Strategy at SAP and Aitor Lopez Fadrique, SAP Procurement Product Strategy Group at SAP, provided details about One Intelligent Source to Contract Platform. They shared details about Major challenges and trends for source and contract stakeholders and how SAP strategy will help with the journey to source and contract with product roadmap and vision.
Prashant Singhai, SAP Product Management -SAP Supply Chain Collaboration at SAP, shared how SAP Business Network: Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration for intelligent enterprises helps with Plan and Forecast, Buy and Deliver, and Invoice and Payment processes. He also shared Strategy & Innovation Update.
Kalyan Valluri, Senior Director Product Management, Cloud Integration at SAP and Satheesh Gannamraju, Product Strategy, SAP Procurement at SAP, shared details about SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) like CIG Value and Benefit, IES Integration Scenarios, CIG Architecture, CIG Test Central and Why move to CIG?
Roman Mayer, Product Manager Incubation Topics in Procurement at SAP and Peter Wohlsen, Product Manager Incubation Topics in Procurement at SAP, presented about Autonomous Procurement and Intelligent Technologies –What is available Today. Intelligent Procurement Innovation Use Cases in Source-to-Pay. SAP’s 3 Zeros Strategy for Sustainability – Climate Action, Circular Economy, Social Responsibility.
Vishnu Arcot, SAP Business Network, GTM Lead at SAP, provided insight into how SAP Business Network enables close collaboration with industry and extension partners. He also shared how you can Transform Fragmented Supply Chains into Unified, Collaborative and Intelligent Business Network.
Amanda Slevar - Director- Solution Advisory SAP Services Procurement & External Workforce at SAP, shared details about Services procurement and how SAP Fieldglass brings it all together. SAP Fieldglass makes it possible to Manage the External Workforce. Intelligent Technologies are embedded within SAp Fieldglass like Integrated Workflow, AI/ML/iRPA, Analytics, Mobile Aps.
We were pleased to welcome Vinay Kinger, Senior Manager, SAP Application Management - Purchase 2 Pay at Astellas, shared Astellas Purchase-2-Pay Global transformation Journey. He shared details about Global Template and Localization, Design Approach, One Platform/Process harmonization, Key Implementation points and Challenges. He also outlined the framework of MaxAttention Engagement and how it helped them in the overall success of the Purchase-2-Pay project.
Rajiv Palkhiwala, Chief Architect/Team Lead Procurement Team CoE NA at SAP and Sachidananda Shetty Giliyaru, Senior Architect Procurement Team CoE NA at SAP, presented about SAP MaxAttention- value proposition and how SAP MaxAttention services engagement helped customers define the Procurement Strategy, address Procurement challenges, Automation and Successful Go-live.
Overall, 110 customers from 59 companies and 8 countries registered for the event. The feedback from the customer was very positive.
