timeout value in soap receiver adapter

Dear experts,

Can we decrese the timeout value in soap receiver adapter from the default value 5 min??

i decreased it and made it 1 min but it is not working.

Please help!!

I did the same ..descreased the time out value and sxi_cache refresh, but still its not working.As per my configuration it should have given the timeout exception but it did not.

Please help!!

Did you do a CPA cache refresh? Also, can you try for 2 minutes as timeout? you can refer this thread as well where it seemed like a timeout less than 1min was not working.

Also, make sure to perform a full cache refresh in SXI_CACHE after changing the value of XMBWS.Timeout.

Yes i have given the value in milliseconds.

the link is for increasing the timeout.

i want to decrease the timeout value, is it possible?

Hi,

Yes, decreasing the timeout should also be possible, identically to increasing it. Still, make sure to refresh the cache, as the new value might not be automatically taken into account by PI, until you refresh it.
