SUM ERROR - Install Financials Add-On for SAP Business Suite

Hi Experts

I install attempts Financials add-on for SAP Business Suite on an ERP 6 EHP 7 on HANA.

I made all preparation steps.

But now comes the following error:

How did you fix the issue, I am facing almost a similar issue with EHP8.

However SAP_FIN is already on 617 SP 10 on the source

Dear all,

as a few days have passed, has anybody found a solution on this?

I´m wondering how e.g. IS-OIL (617) and IS-H (617) could not be supported by the Financial Add-On. From my understanding IS-OIL and IS-H from ECC6 on is embedded in each new ERP installation anyhow, although of course it´s not activated ... if I´m right in assuming, how should an installation of Financial Add-On succeed if the components IS-Oil and IS-H are currently not yet released together with?

Hi Dominik,

Can you lets know the SPAM/SAINT version of your system and also SUM version.

If possible , update it to the latest level , corresponding to your release.

Also do check the sapnote

1999125 - SUM does not prompt to enter vendor key at IS_SELECT phase

1957617 - OCS package "SAPK-634GGINFINBASIS" does not match the current software component vector

hello I have found the problem, in Note 1976158 is said that this add-on is not supported with IS-OIL and IS-H. Actually, you can uninstall anything. But there is really no solution to this? I need to install this add-on. An OSS message I have created, but until I get an answer because ... regards

Hi Dominik,

In general, goto rz70 in your managed system and provide the target SLD that is linked to your solution manager's LMDB and execute.

Once this is done, goto LMDB - select this technical system, and select the re-sync from SLD option.

Run validation check and generate stack.xml again.

Hi Dominik,

You need to check the below things.

1. In SE16 check the CVERS table and check whether component is listed or not. Paste the screenshot.

2. Check the stack.xml file , which might have contained the above package SAPK-617BHINISH in the list. If it present , then you need to generate the new stack.xml or edit the file.

Also do paste the screenshot of software component .

Just follow the steps

1. Run the transaction rz70 and send the data to SLD.

2. Compare the software component with the software component in SLD.

3. Generate the stack.xml file and continue with the upgrade.
