Hi all,
I have created a Http system and mapped the user ID and password for the login page of that System. Now when i created a URL Iview for a particular web application using the System defined above and after passing the username and password parameters as mapped user and mapped Password, i am not able to login into the web application. Its displaying the login page again asking for username and password. Can anyone plz tell me which settings are need to be done so that i should be able to login into the Web application directly after logging into the Portal. Thanks.
Regards,
Saby.
Hi Sarabjeet,
Try this and see:

Hi,
As per the document you are supposesd to create com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap based on this template. I am not sure but i think its downloadable. Based on this u can create iView and give the values. I think it will work if try creating iView based on this template for iView.

Hi Sarabjeet,
just a guess: Is it possible that
- the target HTTP system is a SAP system?
- both the portal and the target system are located in the same DNS domain?
- the target system generally accepts SAP logon tickets issued by the portal?
- the target system does not know a user with the portal user's (portal) logon ID?
You could also check whether user mapping works fine by raising the severity level of (trace) location "com.sap.security.core.umap" to "Info" (in Visual Admin's "Log Configuration").
Best regards
Heiko
