SAP Oracle Sync using RMAN

Dear SAP Expert,

I have question about SAP database synchronized.
Currently our Oracle database in DC and DRC is synchronized by storage to storage sync.
But now sync time need longer time than expected (RPO 2 hours) . To solve this issue i have an idea to sync in database level
with run backup with RMAN then send archive file to DRC and then restore it. Is it possible in SAP system?

For your information we use SAP ECC 6, RHEL 6.2, Oracle 11.2.0.3.0.
