SAP best practice to map the cloud application URLs to company's domain URL

Greetings Everyone,

We are in the process of subscribing to various SAP cloud solutions, including:

- SuccessFactors

- Ariba

- Concur

- IAS

From my understanding, SAP assigns a unique tenant URL to each cloud solution, such as:

- SuccessFactors: https://performancemanager10.successfactors.com/login#/companyEntry

- IAS: https://abcdekl6.accounts.ondemand.com/admin/

Providing these URLs directly to end users may result in confusion and trust issues, as they may not readily identify these domain names. What is the recommended approach to align these URLs with our company domain, ensuring that end users can confidently access the applications?

can we map the sap-provided URLs to company sub domain ?

- sf.mycompany.com

- ariba.mycompany.com

- concur.mycompany.com

- ias.mycompany.com

etc

Thanks

I think you have to look into the documentation of each SaaS solution to find out. If it's not documented then file a support case and ask for clarification. Would be great if you can share afterwards.

Hi Trim

As a side note, be aware that SAP is changing to a new Common Super Domain in the short term to align with the third-party cookie deprecation. Google has set a specific timeline to end of 2024 and other browsers like Edge, Mozilla will take similar paths. The new superdomain will be "cloud.sap" and there's already a process for SuccessFactors

You can set-up also your custom domains in IAS for example: https://help.sap.com/docs/identity-authentication/identity-authentication/use-custom-domain-in-ident...

I'd expect various changes next year to align with this third-party cookie deprecation, so you need to be aware of the limitations and changes to come up with a decision in this matther

Thanks
