Hello Experts,
Could you please help me out to understand Replication process of groups and hierarchy in sap MDG finance.
1) Multiple replication hierarchy is failing
2) Group without hierarchy is not replicating
3)deletion of groups is replicating
Hi Mallika,
yes, this is correct setup for delta replication.

Hi Mallika,
and is the SEND_DELTA_INFO parameter set to 'Y'? Only than the system will deliver delta replication.

Hi Mallika,
>> Replicating deletion of groups with hierarchy is possible scenario is MDG?
Yes, it is possible, when you are using delta replication for SOA, since delta SOA is able to delete master data in target. When you replicating only removal of the group, than the group should be removed in the target from the hierarchy, but would still exists as unassigned group.

Hello Mallika,
in general Groups are not real master data (with own separate master data table) in target ECC/S4, but inly stored in context of the hierarchy structure, therefore you cannot replicate it as a standalone object. You can replicate of deletion of groups from target hierarchy tables by delta replication of SOA.
The first point is too generic to comment on it. Do you mean replication of multiple hierarchy at same time? It should work, but could lead to performance issues due to high data volume.
