Have you tested team builder function?
https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#docs/guide/UI5BSPRepository.html
Hello Masayuki,
We'd also like to use TeamBuilder functions to create a local version of a Fiori Application but the link you provided shows "how to"s only if the UI5 application has been created locally and then transferred to ABAP Repository, not viceversa.
Even manual "Extend SAP Fiori Applications" (08/2013, very recent) still only mentions the report Ginwede used.
Is there a link showing how to do?
Thank you and keep up the good work!!!
Hi Marco,
Do you have same issue as Ginwene? or you have not tested the repository download.
For team builder, please look at https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#docs/guide/UI5BSPRepository.html

Hello Masayuki,
Thank you Again for your kind attention!
I checked the liny you submit an I found:
* Sharing the SAPUI5 Application Project with the SAPUI5 Repository
(You want to upload a new SAPUI5 Application into a new BSP Application on the ABAP server).
* Submitting the SAPUI5 Application Project to the SAPUI5 Repository
* Retrieving the SAPUI5 Application Project from the SAPUI5 Repository
while to use Team Builder functions with Fiori to substitute report /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD
I thought I could find something like
"Sharing SAPUI5 Repository with the SAPUI5 Application Project"
(You want to download a new SAPUI5 Application from BSP Application on the ABAP server)
In the meantime we tried a hybrid solution:
1) Downloading a Fiori Application with /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD;
2) create a new SAPUI5 Application Project;
but when we tried
3) Submitting the SAPUI5 Application Project to the SAPUI5 Repository
the SSCR key is requested;
Are these the correct steps to use Team Builder with Fiori?
Thank you!
Hi Marco,
When you connect to SAPUI5 repository, you should connect as Z* application name (create).
Otherwise you are going to overwrite SAP standard code, so system asks the key.
It is same manner when you do in SE80.
1. Download
2. Create a project
3. Import the downloaded files in web content
4. Change the code
5. Connect to SAPUI5 repository, create Z* app
6. Submit code to Z* app folder
7. Run as ABAP server from eclipse or go to SICF ->test service or go to SE80 BSP app -> test service

Masa

Hi Marco,
Both do same job. You should also give Z* name for uploading by /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD.
If your Gateway server is old NetWeaver version, only /UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD is available.
Team Builder - above NetWeaver 7.31, easy and faster
/UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD - any version, takes long time for uploading/downloading
