Load failing in InfoPackage step

Dear Gurus,

I am facing an issue with a couple of Datasources from a particular Source system. Whenever, I am trying to extract some data through InfoPackage, it is failing, with Error message - 'Error in the Source system'. This is happening in the Preproduction system. The corresponding InfoPackages run fine in the Production system though. I have tried to replicate the DataSources in Preprod but in vain. I have checked the Source system connectivity and it appears to be fine too. Can anybody help me in letting me know why the load is failing each time? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

check the versions of Datasoruce Dev system and PreProduction in ECC and BW systems, and try to transport your data source and replicate the DS.

later activate data source thru program.

Even try to activate next data flow steps as well

Thanks for the reply! I did compare the version of the DataSource with that present in the other systems and it appears to be fine. I have already replicated the metadata and activated the Datasource, but to no avail.
