How to show count of employees per department in my analytical list page

I want to create an Analytical List Page with a chart showing the number of employees per department similar to the one shown in the link. I need to know how to do that

The CDS view has the following fields: empName, empID, department

Do I need one more field to count, or there is an automatic way to count using charts with the 3 fields only

Hi,

I don't think you can manage the expected output using the current CDS fields as the counter per department is missing.

Try to have a model with fields like empCount, department to meet your expected output.
