Creating a service consumption model in SAP BTP, ABAP Environment trial system fails

When you try to create a service consumption model of type OData in SAP BTP, ABAP Environment trial the wizard stops in the last screen with the following error message:

Activation failed with code '2'

Is there any solution for this?

The issue described above is known and my colleagues are working on a solution.

Unfortunately there is right now no workaround available to overcome this issue at this point in time.

Once a solution is available I will update the answer for this question.
