Cloud ALM - Unassigned tasks to deliverables

Hi

I'm trying to handle the tasks that are not assigned to any deliverables. Since I'm following up on the deliverables, I want to avoid to have any activities/tasks that unassigned. There are samples with the automatic created tasks bases on the scopes defined (see below).

There is already a deliverable in activate (in prepare) to schedule the F2S WS (like the one in the sample below), which I'm unable to assign.

In general, it would have been great if we also could have the possibility to assign different tasks to deliverables in the mass edit function and to have a tile in the overview to see the progress grouped on deliverables.

Best regards

Kjell

Hello Jagmohan,

A couple of suggestions and questions by me.

First, in open tasks view in "scope" filter drop down item (not assigned) but it would be better also to add all assigned (meaning all scopes and tasks thereunder). For example, one might want to change all project scope (consisted of many other sub scopes) with mass edit.

Another thing is that, in project process reporting under deliverables, there are around 217 project task, originated from scopes. Clicking on it does not directly bring only unassigned task (but unfiltered tasks as open tasks). It would be better to enforce filtering.

I don't know which filter/s to use to get 217 unassigned task in project progress report under deliverables (unassigned tasks).

I want to mass edit them and either assign to sprint/s or deliverables.

In any case, let's say that I correctly identified these tasks. at current time I cannot see deliverable or sprint assignment in mass edit.

Wouldn't it be a nice feature?

Actually, tasks are originated from scopes which is more logical?

Assigning them to deliverables, sprints or both.

Last one, is it possible to create custom deliverables or workstreams?

Or is it in future plan?

Possibility to create deliverables and workstreams may facilitate the use of Cloud ALM for manual implementation of selections in roadmap viewer (whole scope). or allow use of Cloud ALM for other mini project purposes (from scratch).

Thanks for your answers in advance.
