Centeral MDG Hub for SAP and NON SAP Systems

Hello Experts,

Please answer me this challenging question?

Would it possible to implement SAP MDG as  HUB for 2 different systems ( SAP and NON SAP systems ) - Different BU's.

If yes, how we could have customization data configured and achieved independently.

How we could run master data governance for 2 different BU's?

Hi,

I guess this  is possible.

I am answering this on high level:

Your customizing can contain all the values from both the systems.

Ideally you use Value Mapping and if possible Global codelist or System codelists.

Thanks Anil, Yes you are right, but I got number of questions..

how do we implement for all customization entries?

do we need to do this field mapping for all attributes? and also for each value one by one?

is system code list available for all customization entries?

Example : Material Grp1 used in System A - utilizing for marketing ( Have 10 different values )

                 Material Grp 2 used in System B - Utilizing for different purpose ( have 15 different values )

Please advice.
