"Receive Product" app error

Dear experts!

We are having a problem with "Receive Products" app.

Stores are receiving from DC outbound delivery where one STO line is packed in to multiple HU's (pallets). We can not receive such an outbound delivery because of the processing status in the app "Not processable". Whole HU is marked as "Goods receipt posted by external application" while obviously no goods receipt has been made and STO is open.

What are we doing wrong or should do different? We don't have problem posting such outbound deliveries with MIGO (Post Goods Movement), but we want to use "Receive Products" instead.

Is this a bug or undocumented feature?

Have you received any solved for above issue?. Even we are facing same issue in receive product Fiori application, what you have mentioned above.
