Pros & Cons in Updated XI to PI 7.1

Hi Experts,

We are planning to update XI to PI 7.1. Could and one suggest the pros and cons and changes and new features we get with this upgrade.

Please no links. I need some theory with necessary headings.

Hi the same question answered many times....search in sdn...

1) All objects in the Integration Repository (IR) are available in the Enterprise SOA Repository (ESR) and can be used without change

2) All objects in the Integration Directory (ID) are available and can be reused.

3)All mappings (graphical mapping, XSLT, Java mapping and ABAP mapping) will work without change

4)Customer Adapters and Adapter modules have to be adjusted and redeployed

5)Java Proxies have to be redeployed.

Adavatages: PI7.1 offerning good performace to process High Volume messages .the arcitecure it self got changed.

we can use Bussiness Activity Monitoring.
