Project by default for Request for change

hello Experts,

in SM we have 2 maintenance project with same logical component for ERP landscape. When we create Request for Change, system select project 1 but we need that the system select project 2. How can we customize this?

i think its linked to ibase component but dont know where can i change it.

Hi,

Project will not be related to iBase component...

You can select another project when you create the Request for Change.

Can you please share the screen shot of RFC and both projects.

i try to select project 2 in RFC but system create UC in maintenance cycle of project 1, ignoring selected project.

what part of projects and RFC i need to share?

Have you created maintenance cycle and task list for project 2... after activating charm in project...

And you have to unlock release groups also for projects..

Check the consistency for both the projects and select option show project switches...

and check sub projects created or not for projects...

Charm will not act like that... there is some problem with your configuration only..

It seems you are still using the old transaction type only, please confirm.

What is the solman version currently you are on.?

Hi,

these are the project switches and you can ignore that, manually activities you are allowed to carry with CHARM activated.

Hi,

Make sure that project 2 had activated change request management and phase of the project should be appropriate.

Users must have authorizations for same.

It must come in F4 help.

However change the su01 profile parameters SA_PROJECT_ID, and SCMAPROFILE to new project name and its task list.

thanks for answer, project 2 is activated and in phase Development with release.

user have sap_all.

project 2 is available in select screen for project field, i select it but when i create urgent change and TR in it, TR is created and linked to project 1.
