Procedure to transport LO Datasource after enhancement

Dear Experts,

I have enhanced a LO Data source with adding new fields in R/3.

Do i need to tranport to BW or Just to do replication ?

I want to transport to BW production system from BW Quality system.

Please guide me what are the steps need to perform.

Is there any special considerations for LO Data sources during the transport?

Hello Rajesh Ramakrishnan,

In target System

1.    Delete the setup data (LBWG)

2.    Job for collective update stopped (LBWE)

3.    Check the Delta Queue (RSA7) for your DataSource (Delta Queue should be blank)

4.    Block user to modify or create the records for this dataSource (Due to Delta queue)

5.    Transport your DataSource in Target System.

you miss a number of steps. Before import of transports you need to delete the update queue and delta queue.... 10 points for an incorrect answer....

Yeah but if someone answers even though not complete there is no need for a sentence like that.

"10 Points for an incorrect answer" is plainly wrong.

Maybe it wasnt complete but there is no reason to dis other "helping" people like that.

Other important point

These sequence of Transport request should be correct

1. Customizing TR to inactivate the  Extractor

2. Workbench TR for new fields/changes

3.Customizing TR to activate the Extractor
