Onboarding 2.0 - Onboarding error messages are not triggering in Personal Data Collection step

Hello Team,

We have a requirement to show validation messages on click on 'Submit' button in Personal Data Collection step to new hire in case there is no 'National ID' data / 'Emergency Contact' data entered in PDC step.

We have tried using the Validate HRIS Elements / Hire Rehire scenario business rule scenario(s) to generate error messages on the candidate page, but we have not achieved the desired outcome.

Hello Nandini,

I tried the same and was not able to set it up so instead implemented a workaround - I've build oninit rules for both portlets that pre-default data for the national IDs to be collected and also the emergency contact. This reduces the risk of having this data missed by the onboardee during PDC.
