NWBC in combination with IE11

Dear,

According OSS note 1754946 : prerequisites for NWBC 4.0, only internet explorer versions 8, 9 and 10 are supported as this moment.

Nevertheless I see some notes  regarding IE11, such as 1946911 - SAP NWBC ABAP Runtime Patch 35 refering to IE11 issues.

Can we safely roll out the latest patches of NWBC 4.0 with Internet Explorer 11 ?

Dear Dirk,

For Desktop 4.0 it is officially not yet supported, references in Note for PL35 are referring to the HTML version of NWBC.

any idea when SAP plans to support Internet Explorer 11 ?

Multiple colleagues and customer have already installed IE11 since November last year.

And in note 1903267 has been written "SAP supports Internet Explorer 11 with the required minimum SP and the latest patches."

Dear Dirk,

Unfortunately I don't have official statement on the timing, I know only that we are working on it.

Note 1903267 refers to the browser support, but Desktop Client itself is under another link.
