Maintenance of Business Partner Collections Master Data - Role UDM000 in BP model in MDG

Hi,

We would like to enable the Business Partner Collections Management data maintenance for Customers/BP in MDG. There is BP Role UDM000 to maintain the data but I do not see the fields on MDG change request UI as we have in the tcode BP(Role UDM000) in the backend. Would like to know about below details so that we can activate the role maintenance using change request in MDG.

We have MDG7.0 where we have this issue.

1) Do we have to enhance the data model BP & adjust the UI or is there any note/business function to get this activated automatically.

2) After achieving first step - Upon activation of change request does the collection master data for Business partner gets copied automatically to tcode -BP (Role UDM000).

Request you to please share the details with this requirement if you know/already handled this in MDG.

Hi Rakesh,

MDG for BP supports vendor and customer roles and their related views (Company Code, Purchasing, etc)

Collection Management fields are not part of standard BP Data Model. Assignment of Role UDM000 is possible where the user can choose the BP role for the Business Partner. Extension of BP data model is required for capturing UDM000 related fields.

The above extension must handle the logic of assigning the role and CM related field value.

Alternatively, the Collection management role assignment can be captured in the BP transaction.

Hi Saravanan, I have requirement to add UDM000 - Collections Management, UKM000 - SAP Credit Management during the creation of BPs. As soon as I add the BP Role I see the roles getting adding added but I don't see a provision to pass values to the 'Credit Profile' tab. Do you have any documentation/reference how to achieve this? Thanks in advance.
